ShockerFest International Film Festival 2008

Sometime in the near future, after nearly all of the world's population has been devastated by the virus known as 'Red Death', three soldiers march out to investigate a distress signal coming from one of the last remaining quarantines on earth.

It's the end of yet another night at Hastings Supermarket, an idyllic family grocery store in Buck Lake, Arizona. But the normal monotony of rounding up shopping carts and settling out the cash drawers is broken at 11:07pm, just before closing when a group of masked and armed-to-the-teeth militants invades the store, immediately killing several of the employees and shoppers and holding the rest hostage. Though the hostage-takers at first appear to be robbers or terrorists, they reveal themselves to be a cadre of rogue scientists that has discovered and tracked an alien infestation to THIS STORE on THIS NIGHT, and they are determined to find out which of the survivors are extraterrestrials and end the invasion at any cost.

Haunted by recents events and on the run, a man finds himself the unwitting pawn of a possessed evangelical radio station and like his unfortunate predecessor must ask himself whether it is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven. A motley group of business students in Berlin, Germany sign up for Takahashi Corp.'s assessment weekend, hoping to land one of the coveted spots with the consulting company. Under the watchful eye of a company psychologist, the team-working and improvisational skills of the aspirants will be put to the test in a survival-type situation. But nothing goes according to plan - the group arrives to find the base camp completely destroyed. Trapped in the woods with no food, no shelter and no way to communicate with the outside world, the real characters of the students come to light, as one by one, they start to lose their heads…

The group takes shelter in Roy's ranch house, surrounded by hundreds of vampires intending to torch the property before sunrise. In the tradition of From Dusk Till Dawn and the Doom Generation, here comes BLOOD ON THE HIGHWAY. Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) stars and has been invited to attend as a guest of the festival.
